Gordon Gene Adair

Gordon Gene Adair was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 17, 1967, and entered heaven’s gates on February 17, 2026. He was a graduate of Warren Central High School/Walker Career Center in Indianapolis and resided in Greenfield, Indiana where he and Beth raised their two daughters. He was a talented and amazing automotive painter who loved creating special finishes for his customers and friends and especially enjoyed creating custom motorcycle paint schemes. After retiring from the automotive refinishing industry, he was known for his exceptional Door Dash service. He relished the opportunity to connect with local restaurant owners and staff and took great pleasure in delivering food to his customers, especially to the teachers and first responders in his community. He loved coaching volleyball at Eastern Hancock Schools almost as much as the casual Sunday afternoon games played with friends and neighbors on his sand court at home. He was respected by his colleagues and adored by the athletes he coached. Gordon was a devoted father and grandfather (Poppi) who loved fishing, motorcycling and fellowship with his brothers and sisters in the Christian Motorcyclist Association and at Real-Life Church in Greenfield. His grandchildren brought him joy unspeakable and he loved each of them beyond measure. He now joins his mother and father, Gene and Margie Adair in heaven. He is survived by his daughters: Meagan Rene Blanks (Sean) and Ashton Adair Sword (Greg); his grandchildren: Ellie, Isabelle and Logan; his brother: Scott Adair; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, along with an extended family, life-long neighbors and friends…. all who loved him very much. He would want us to share with you that, although this was the end of his earthly life, he knew it would be the wonderful beginning of eternity with his Savior, Jesus Christ and wanted everyone he met to have that same assurance. Gordon led many individuals to Christ during his ministry with the Christian Motorcyclist Association especially within the Breaking Through Prison Ministry and was a devoted member of his Real-Life Church family, The Greensburg Area Emmaus Walk and Kairos Prison Ministry. Please join us for a celebration of Gordon’s life from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on April 18, 2026, at Real-Life Church, 5151 W. US Highway 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A brief memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m., followed by an open house visitation until 2:00 p.m. Please feel free to come and go as you are able. All are welcome to attend the service, visit and share in food and refreshments as we gather to remember and celebrate this life that was so well lived.
