Diana Lynn Gregg

GREENFIELD – Diana Lynn Gregg, age 50, of Greenfield, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017 after a short battle with cancer. She was born on August 28, 1967 in Indianapolis as the daughter of Wilburn and Linda L. (Pearce) Wade. She graduated from John Marshall High School in 1986 and received her mechanical engineering technology degree from Indiana Vocational Technical College. Diana married Jeffrey A. Gregg on October 27, 1994 in Gatlinburg, TN. She worked in the aerospace industry where she was a project manager and senior designer for over 15 years for Belcan Engineering Group. Diana enjoyed working on projects with her co-workers and friends. Being a wife, mother and grandmother was her number one priority and she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was organized, highly intelligent, strong yet sensitive, and had a personality that made her everyone’s best friend. She loved her animals Candy, Ally, Mandy and Nala. Diana loved sitting on her deck listening to the rain and all the nature around her. She was very creative and enjoyed crafting. Diana enjoyed spending time relaxing and vacationing on the beach with the love of her life, Jeff. Diana is survived by her husband, Jeff Gregg; daughters, Samantha Ivy, Ashley (Brandon) Hubbard and Brittany (Craig) Redstone; parents, Wilburn and Linda Wade; six grandchildren, Neva Ivy, Annabelle Wilson, Alyssa Greenwalt, Payton Hubbard, Hayden Hubbard and Jeffrey Redstone; brothers, Fred (Rhetta) Wade and Mark Wade; sister, Becky (Keith) Smith; and parents-in-law, Charlene and Arlie Gregg; brothers and sister-in-law, Gary Gregg and Bryan (Rhonda) Gregg. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jessie and Marvin Pearce; and aunt, Vickie Creech. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Pastor Jeri Barrett-Thomas will be officiating.
