Reba Hensley

INDIANAPOLIS – Reba Louise Hensley, age 92, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022. She was born in Wabash, Indiana on November 18, 1929 to Pearl (Crawford) and Oscar Ramer. She worked as the head housekeeper at Westminster Village North for over 27 years before retiring. She was a past member of the Indian Lake Country Club. Reba enjoyed going bowling and golfing. She loved her cat and loved birdwatching. She cherished time spent with her family at gatherings. Reba is survived by her children, Dave (Nisa) Hensley of Shelbyville, Gary (Lana) Hensley of Fishers, Brenda (Ray) Godfrey of Greenfield, Judy (Paul) Goodwin of Greenfield, Cheryl (Brad) Spires of Avon, Dana (Martie) Hensley of Pittsburgh, PA, Trina Hensley of Greenwood, and James (Duek-hua) Hensley of South Korea; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; best friend, Sandy Hindman and her family; and her beloved cat, Stache. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Richard and Sean Hensley; and brothers, Carl, Charles, and Clifford Ramer. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A Celebration of Reba’s Life Service will be held at the mortuary on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the P.A.W.S., 1224 W Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140 or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
