Faye (Frazier) Banks

Faye (Frazier) Banks, age 87, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022. She was born in Uz, Kentucky, on April 9, 1934, to Andrew and Eva (Ison) Frazier. She attended Whitesburg High School in Whitesburg, Kentucky. She married Carlos Banks on April 3,1953 and was happily married 68 years. She worked for Indiana Box Company in Greenfield for 34 years before retiring in 1999. Faye was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church in Cumberland, Indiana. She loved gardening, cooking, and most of all her family and friends. She is survived by her grandson Jason (Alicia) Hayes; great-grandchildren, Addisyn and Emma Hayes; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Eva (Ison) Frazier; loving husband, Carlos Banks; daughter Carla Lappin; and siblings, Jack Frazier, Fairy Banks, and Fern Roseberry. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary and Crematory in Greenfield, Indiana. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Randy Stone officiating. Burial will follow at the Philadelphia Church Cemetery in Philadelphia, Indiana.
