Kenneth Ulrich

NEW PALESTINE- Kenneth Lee Ulrich, age 60, of New Palestine, passed away Friday, March 17th, 2023. He was born in Elkhart Indiana on May 10th, 1962. He was the eldest child of four born to Fred and Nancy (Rady) Ulrich. Shortly after his birth, the family returned to the southside of Indianapolis, where Ken graduated from Perry Meridian High School. After high school, he was able to fulfill his ambition of joining the Army as a Military Policeman. For three years, he served his nation at both Ft. Carson, in Colorado and then in Nuremberg, Germany. Finally, returning home to Indiana to attend IUPUI, Ken graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business degree majoring in both Finance and Real Estate. He obtained his Real Estate Broker’s license and worked as a Real Estate Appraiser for over 30 years and was currently working for Opteon USA. Mr. Ulrich was also, a co-owner of WB Knife Works in Greenfield, Indiana allowing him to pursue his interest in collectible pocketknives and other cutlery. He married Sheree (Davis) Ulrich on June 3rd, 1995. Together, they enjoyed renovating several houses over the course of thirty years including three of their own homes. After the birth of their son in 2001, they became active in Kurt’s activities including sports and the Boy Scouts of America. He is survived by his Wife, Sheree Ulrich of New Palestine; Son, Kurt Ulrich; and Sisters, Kimberly Allison, and Kerry Eddington. He was preceded in death by his parents, listed above and younger brother Kevin Ulrich. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary and Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield Indiana 46140. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. A private burial will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Indiana Nongame Wildlife Fund, 402 W.
