Keith Alan Noster

INDIANAPOLIS - Keith Alan Noster, age 64, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Community Hospital North. He was born in Lorain, Ohio on March 13, 1960 to Kenneth and Lois (Welday) Noster. He graduated from Elyria High School in Elyria, Ohio in 1978. Keith furthered his education at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio where he studied business and then he earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Indianapolis. He married Linda Diann (Huber) Noster on September 7, 1991. He worked at Independent Senior Insurance as an Insurance Sales Manager. Keith was a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity. He was also a strong, faithful member of Faith Presbyterian Church of Indianapolis where he taught Sunday school for many years and served as a mentor to his pastor’s son through the confirmation process. Keith enjoyed fishing with family and had a deep appreciation for music, especially 80’s classic rock. He loved spending time with his family, particularly his grandson, Hudson. Keith also took great pleasure in coaching soccer for his kids’ teams when they were younger. He loved traveling, especially going on cruises, and had an affection for being near the water, especially with having grown up on Lake Erie. Keith was an Ohio State football fan, a fan of the Cleveland Indians and had a huge heart for animals. Keith was known as a generous and giving man and even in his death, Keith gave the gift of life through tissue donation. He was proud to be a tissue and organ donor through the Indiana Donor Network. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Huber) Noster; children, Brenna McNeil (Ryan) and Logan Noster; brothers, Tim and John Noster; his beloved dogs, Molly, Sadie and Baylee; and his grandchildren, Hudson McNeil and expected grandson due in August of 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Lois (Welday) Noster; and brother, Mark Noster. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A memorial service will be held following the visitation on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Pastor Vern Farnum will be officiating. In honor of Keith’s giving spirit, the family strongly requests donations be made rather than sending flowers.
