Keith A. Martin

GREENFIELD – Keith A. Martin, age 59, of Greenfield, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born in Washington, Indiana on March 6, 1960 to Nelson “Eddie” and Joyce Ann (Allen) Martin. He graduated from Washington High School in 1978. Keith married Michelle Ann (Grannan) on June 19, 1982 in Washington. At the age of 16 years old he began working at Hardees and worked his way up to General Manager. He was there for a total of 28 years. He worked for Myers Flower Shop in Washington as a sales associate and also worked for Tumbling Express in Washington as an office manager both for 10 years. He most recently worked for The Gymnastics Company in Indianapolis as the office manager. He enjoyed musicals and singing. Keith was very meticulous and organized. Family was everything to Keith and he was a great Papaw. He liked to be creative and fun when spending time with his family. Keith is survived by his parents, Nelson “Eddie” and Joyce Martin of Washington; wife, Michelle Martin of Greenfield; children, Erin (Jon) Hardin of Cumberland, Nichole (Dale) Fowler of Greenfield, and Ashley Martin of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Luke Hardin, Zach Hardin, David Fowler, and Nik Fowler; sister, Janice (Rusty) Traylor of Washington; mother-in-law, Jane Grannan of Saginaw, TX; nephew, Jared Traylor; niece, Rachael Schaub; and great niece and nephews, Lilly Schaub, Blake Traylor, and Henry Schaub. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Virginia (Warner) Martin and Dale and May (Raney) Allen; and father-in-law, Robert Grannan. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 9, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Pastor David Woods will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
