Cheryl Everhart

SHELBYVILLE - Cheryl D. Everhart, 76 of Morristown, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. Cheryl was born on April 10, 1946, in rural Switzerland County, Indiana to John and Ione (Mathews) Rogers. Cheryl graduated from Morristown High School in 1964. She married the love of her life, Tom Everhart, on July 17, 1965. Cheryl received her Associates Degree in Business from Indiana Wesleyan University. She spent her career as a Customer Service Representative for Knauf Insulation in Shelbyville. Cheryl was a member of the Morristown United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed watching sunsets, sports, shopping and her Wednesday night card club. Cheryl especially loved to travel anytime she could. Above everything, she cherished time spent with her family and friends. Cheryl is survived by her children, Lisa (Julie Lang) Myers and Erin (Scott) Needham; four grandchildren, Thomas Myers, Olivia (Jake) Engle, Gabrielle Needham, and Brynn Needham; great-granddaughter, Whitley Engle; mother, Ione Rogers; brother, Doug (Tracy) Rogers; sister, Sandra Cassidy; niece, Jessica Ross; nephew, Ted Everhart; brother-in-law, Teddy (Jana) Everhart; her loyal dog, Bentley; and many dear friends. Cheryl is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Everhart; father, John W. Rogers; brother, John R. Rogers; father - and mother-in-law, Harold and Shirley Everhart; and nephew, Derek Beagle. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2022, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US HWY 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 11:00am at Morristown United Methodist Church, 221 S. Washington St., Morristown, Indiana 46161. Pastor Colin Cress will be officiating.
