GREENFIELD - Charlotte Kay Bixler, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully, May 30th 2025 surrounded by her family, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. For over 27 years, Charlotte devoted her career to food service in Lawrence Township school systems. Her warm smile and caring spirit made her a cherished presence in the lives of countless children. She was a passionate sports fan. Whether cheering on the St. Louis Blues, the Chicago Cubs, or the Indiana Pacers, her loyalty ran deep. Nothing compared to her love for the Indianapolis 500 — race day was a special occasion, complete with friendly wagers and a house full of food and family. Family and her dog Lilly were the center of Charlotte’s world. She found immense joy in watching her grandsons compete on the field or perform on stage, and some of her happiest moments were spent swimming, fishing, camping, or cooking in the kitchen with her grandkids. Her kitchen was a place of magic, and her cooking was legendary. No matter what the occasion, her desserts were the highlight of every gathering. Charlotte loved a good laugh, a good drink, a good meal, and the thrill of a gamble, especially when surrounded by her two sisters and her beloved mother. Above all, Charlotte cherished the life she built with her late husband, Scott. Together they raised two incredible children, Aimee Flodder (Bixler) and Tony Bixler, creating a home filled with love, strength, and tradition. Charlotte is survived by her father, Bill Lindsey; sisters, Kathy (David) Phelps and Sherri (Nick) Varrone; daughter, Aimee Flodder and her husband Chris; along with their children Robbie, Wyatt, and Stella; son, Tony Bixler and his wife Carrie; along with their children Carter, Nash, and Austen. She is preceded in death by husband, Scott Bixler; and mother, Betty Lindsey. Charlotte will be remembered for her warmth, unwavering love for family, and the countless ways she made life sweeter. Her legacy lives on through the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. A private Celebration of Life service will take place at a later date to honor Charlotte’s memory and life.
