NOBLESVILLE – Wilma E. (Troxell) Goodwin, age 83, of Noblesville, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022, at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville, IN. Daughter of Robert and Roseanna (George) Morris, she was born in Straughn, IN on January 1, 1939. She graduated from Lewisville High School in 1957. Mrs. Goodwin attended Long Beach Junior College studying Data Entry Operations. She married David M. Goodwin on September 15, 1957. They were married for nearly 65 years. Wilma worked for Western Electric, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Electronic Data Corp., and IU Med Center as an administrative secretary before retiring. Mrs. Goodwin was a member of the Sunnyside Road Baptist Church for over 40 years. She was a devoted Christian who always enjoyed going to church and being active in her church community. She enjoyed playing piano, loved to travel, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Tammy Lynn (Don) Stoehr, Robert David (Diana) Goodwin, Karen Faith (Steve) McCutchen, and Jonathan Lovell (Cindy) Goodwin; brothers David Troxell and Robert Morris; sisters Loretta Ray, Mary Ann White, and Doris Shult; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Paul Troxell, Billy Paul Morris, and Bill Troxell; and sisters Rosalyn Niles and Jane Troxell. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Pastor Marcus Goodwin will be officiating. A graveside service will take place on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to Sunnyside Road Baptist Church, 6102 Sunnyside Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46236 or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
