Ryan Scott Durbin

FORTVILLE – Ryan Scott Durbin, age 24, of Fortville, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018. He was born on May 29, 1993 in Indianapolis as the son of Ronald and Kelly (Heidrich) Durbin. Ryan graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 2011. He was saved and baptized at the New Life Christian Fellowship. Ryan enjoyed watching football and traveling to Niagara Falls, which was his favorite place to visit. He was well known by his family as the joker and he would always make you laugh. He loved his dog Bentley. Ryan is survived by his parents, Ronald and Kelly Durbin; brothers, Robby Durbin and Justin Durbin; grandparents, Sharon Cate, Brenda and Ronald Durbin; aunts and uncles, Jeremy (Deena) Heidrich, Wendy Creech, Bethany (Todd) Sallee, Stephen (Shannon) Heidrich, and Doug (Sherry) Durbin; and 13 cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Daniel Heidrich; step-grandfather, William Cate; and cousin, Hunter Malachi Heidrich. Private family services will be held at a later date.
