He was an artful and gifted brick mason, leaving his legacy in his stone work for us to enjoy. Rick was a proud member of the Westside Club for over 30 years. He celebrated 38 years of sobriety and recovery on April 6th of this year. Rick spent many years helping others with sobriety and introducing them to God. Rick was an avid Steeler’s fan. One of Rick’s passions was gardening and working in the yard. He spent many hours creating beautiful landscapes. Rick was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was loved very much by his daughters and grandchildren who affectionately referred to him as Pa. His passions ranged from football to Fox News to landscaping. But his most loved passion was for his grandchildren. He loved watching them play sports, building fires, and cutting down trees. Rick was also loved by a very large extended family and several close friends. Rick was a lover of Jesus Christ and shared that love of Christ with all he knew. He maintained a strong relationship with God throughout his life. He will be greatly missed by many.
