Reta Mundell

October 27, 1946 - June 15, 2022

GREENFIELD – Reta Diana (Stanley) Mundell, age 75, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Born on October 27, 1946, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Lillian M. (Benefiel) Colestock and Roy O. Stanley. She was a 1964 graduate of Carthage High School and received a degree in accounting from Indiana Business College in 1966. She worked at AAA Hoosier Motor Club as an accounting supervisor for over 20 years. She was a lifetime member of Kappa Kappa Sigma Sorority – Alpha Kappa Chapter. She served as a grand president and was a member of Alpha Omega. Reta was also a member of the American Business Women’s Association and former member of Fletcher United Methodist Church in Carthage. She enjoyed spending time with her family and the friends she had made through clubs and organizations. Reta is survived by her children, Samuel Mundell III (Lorie) of Wilkinson and Melinda Woolsey (Jim) of Greenfield; and grandchildren, Anna Cook, Dewey Jacob Woolsey and James B. Woolsey. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, John, Robert, and Patsy Stanley. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140.
