Kurt Poole

GREENFIELD – Kurt R Poole, age 61, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born in Indianapolis on September 8, 1960 to George Maurice and Mary Margaret (Raymond) Poole. He graduated from Greenfield-Central High School in 1979 and received his bachelor’s degree in radio communications from Ball State University in 1983. He was passionate about video editing and worked for many years in the field including time at Churchill Downs and Music Row. Kurt was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. He loved photography, music, drag racing and the Indy 500. Kurt is survived by his mother, Mary Poole; daughter, Ella Lynnlee Poole; sister, Toni Poole; and half-sister, Lynn White. He was preceded in death by his father, George Poole. Private family services and inurnment will take place on a later date.
