Joan Lodwick Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Josephine “Joan” Lodwick 83 passed away February 13th, 2022. Joan was the daughter of Merrill and Helen Liggett. Joan graduated from Monmouth High. Joan married the love of her life James Lodwick. While raising her 5 girls she received her nursing degree from Carl Sandburg College. Joan worked for J.C. Lindo M.D. and several nursing homes in the area throughout the years. Joan enjoyed camping at Del a Bar State Park with her family and playing Bingo every chance she got. Joan is survived by her daughters, Pam (Dwight) Foutch, Abingdon, Il, Cindy Walker, Greenfield, In, Angel Schisler, Greenfield, In, Mary (Todd) Manion, Greenfield, In, and Tauny (Mike) Piland of Indianapolis In.; grandchildren, Chris Foutch, Matt Foutch, Aron Privett, Mande Norman, Mikel Privett, Zach Cook, Jeremy Watkins, Justin Piland, Katrina Cook, Kyle Privett, Cody Walker and Courtney Roos; and 24 great grandchildren. Joan is also survived by her sister, Karen Lincoln of Knoxville, Il and a sister-in-law, Mary Anne Liggett of Las Vegas, Nv. Joan was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim; grandsons, Cory Lodwick, and Timmy Schisler; sons-in-law, Josh Walker, and Lee Schisler; and brother, Jerry Liggett. Joan also leaves behind the residents of Port Charles, Llanview and Salem. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carl Sandburg College Scholarship Foundation. A memorial service is being planned by the family on a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield.
