GREENFIELD – Deborah L. (Church) Wines, age 66, of Greenfield, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital – Kokomo. Born on August 17, 1955, in Richmond, IN. She was the daughter of Richard E. and Shirley (Pickett) Church. Deborah was a 1974 graduate at Indiana School for the Deaf. On June 22, 1974, she married to the love of her life, James Wines in Columbus, Indiana. For over 13 years, she worked at Ford Motor Company before retiring in 2001. She was a member of the Southport Heights Christian Church, where she was an active member of the church. Deborah enjoyed writing recipes, coloring, and her game shows. She loved playing games with her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Deborah is survived by her husband of 47 years, James of Greenfield; children, Pollyanna Gipson (John) of Connersville, Jeremy Wines (Alanna) of Farmland, IN, and Jonathan Wines (Amanda Taylor) of Cincinnati; grandchildren, William, Ashley Fields, Storm, Skylar Gipson, Jackson, Anna Wines, Landon, Isabella and Gabriel Wines; great-grandson, Seth Gipson; her parents Richard Church (Shirley) of Ellenton, Florida, a brother Brent Church (Becky) of Columbus, IN and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Deborah’s Life will be held on Thursday, June 23rd at Southport Heights Christian Church (7154 McFarland Road, Southport, IN 46227). Visitation will be from 3PM to 6PM, followed by a service at 6PM. Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield.
