Greenfield – William R. “Bill” Fisher, age 60, passed away Monday, June 22, 2009, at Springhurst Health Campus in Greenfield.  He was born on January 12, 1949 in Indianapolis.  His parents are Harold E. Fisher and Noreene (Boyce) Fisher-Price. He received his associate degree from United Electronics in Louisville, KY in 1971.

Bill worked for Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company in Macon, GA for 25 years, and was a member of the Southport United Methodist Church. 

He is survived by his mother Noreene (Boyce) Fisher-Price of Union City; children, Robert (Lissa) Fisher of Newnan, GA, Tammy (Jay) Cochran of Gray, GA; brothers, Tom Fisher of Richmond, Steven (Brenda) Fisher of Richmond, Rev. Mark (Susan) Fisher of Indianapolis; sisters, Jennifer (Dan) Heneghan of Fortville, Susan (Brian Alexander) Williams of Richmond; many nieces and nephews; and three grandchildren Casey Fisher, Caleb Fisher, and Carly Cochran.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, daughter, Jacquelin Fisher, and brother, Kevin Fisher.

Visitation will be Friday, June 26 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Southport United Methodist Church, 1947 E. Southport Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46227.  A Celebration of Bill’s Life will immediately follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m. also at the church.  Reverend Mark Fisher will be officiating.

Bill's loving family

He will be greatly missed. Very smart fun loving man. I will always remember his two timing ways.  That's what makes him one of the best.  That is one of the reason's God was ready for him.  He was one of the BEST  and sweetest I have met.  Keep in touch.    Sorry for your and our lose.   Suzanne

I was so very saddened to hear of the passing of Bill. He was a great

friend for years. Words can not express how the family feels, but always

remember the LORD is in control.
