GREENFIELD – Virginia L. (McCoy) Kemerly, age 78, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at her home.  Born on December 4, 1929 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Jesse and Mabel McCoy.  She married Ivan Kemerly on March 3, 1973 in Indianapolis.  Mrs. Kemerly was a homemaker.  She was an avid reader of mysteries and loved cats. 

Survivors include her husband, Ivan Kemerly of Greenfield; children, Vickie (Bryan) Harper of Corydon, Indiana; Terri (Bobby) Perry of Alexandria, Kentucky; Debbie (Todd) Kemper of San Marcos, California; Cheryl (Bob) Yarnell of Camby, Indiana; and Joe (Bambi) Kemerly of Greenfield; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.  Her parents preceded her in death.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 28, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.  Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 29, at 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.  Cole Harper and Caleb Harper will officiate.  Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
