Lakeland, Florida– Sheila Kay Harris, age 63, formerly of Indianapolis, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008, in Clermont, Florida, due to complications of Diabetes.  Sheila moved to Lakeland in 1998 from Indianapolis, Indiana.  She was a member of the Lake Gibson Church of the Nazarene in Florida.  Sheila loved spending time with her grandchildren, dining with friends, gospel music, and shopping.  Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Martha Massingale; step-father, Ernest Bud Massingale; father, Ralph Richard Lawson; and a brother, Gary Lee Massingale.  Survivors include her husband, Charles Harris; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Jay Hood; brothers, Freddy Allen Massingale, Ernie Ray Massingale, and Darrell Eugene Massingale; sister, Nena Jo Scott; and grandchildren, Sawyer Jay Hood and Sydney Kay Hood.  Visitation will be Sunday, June 15, 2008, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.  Funeral services will be on Monday, June 16, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the mortuary with Pastor Bryan Solomon officiating.  Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Mike Conley Hospice House, 2100 Oakley Seaver Drive, Clermont, Fl, 34711, or the American Diabetes Association, , 6415 Castleway West Dr., Suite 114, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46250.  Friends may sign the on-line guestbook at www.erleweinmortuary.com or email condolences to sympathy@erleweinmortuary.com.
