Greenfield – Robert W. “Bob” Beagle, age 60, died May 31, 2009 at Hancock Regional Hospital.  Born on January 10, 1949 in Sparta, Kentucky, he was the son of John and Hazel (Lewis) Beagle.  He graduated from Owen County High School in Kentucky. 

He married Nancy (Egerton) Beagle in 1992.   

He worked for Central Supply as a truck driver for over fifteen years before his retirement in 1997. Mr. Beagle was a member of the American Legion Post 119 and the Moose Lodge 987, both in Greenfield. 

Surviving him are his spouse, Nancy; children, Angela Renner and John Beagle, both of Ingalls; step-children, Kim Husdon, Donnie Bolton, David Martin, and Ron Martin, all of Greenfield; four grandchildren; sister, Wanda Summers of Greenfield; several nephews and other family.  Preceding him in death were his parents and brothers, James Beagle and Johnny Beagle.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 3, 2009, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.  Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Burial will be at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.

 I worked with Bob at Gas America many years ago. Bob was a super sweet guy who would do anything for anyone!
