MAXWELL– Nancy Sue “Cookie” Kiser, age 58, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2009, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.  Born on January 22, 1951, she was the daughter of Charles H. and Dorothy A. Brown.  She graduated from Hancock Central High School in 1969 and married John R. Kiser, Sr., on November 26, 1969. 

 

Nancy worked at the Hancock County Clerk and Assessor’s office as a bookkeeper for 16 years.  She also loved to go to Vegas and gamble.

 

Surviving her are her husband, John R. Kiser, Sr., of Maxwell; children, Richie (Connie) Kiser and Jenny (Chad Phillipy) Kiser of Maxwell; sister, Becky Lake of Lawrence; and grandson, Colton Kiser.  Preceding her in death were her parents and sister, Ruth McDaniel. 

 

A memorial service in honor of Mrs. Kiser will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.  Pastor John Davis will be officiating. 

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greenfield Animal Management- Animal Enrichment Fund, 809 S. State Rd. 9, Greenfield, Indiana, 46140, or to the donor’s favorite charity.  Friends may sign the online guestbook at www.erleweinmortuary.com or e-mail condolences to sympathy@erleweinmortuary.com
