GREENFIELD – Michael L. Meredith, age 59, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Sugar Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Greenfield.  Born on July 19, 1949 in Indianapolis, he was the son of William and Geraldine (Hadley) Meredith.  He graduated from Triton Central High School in 1969 and worked for Capital City Riggers in Morristown for many years.  Mr. Meredith was part of the Aging and Community Services of South Central Indiana Guardianship program.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and living his life on his own terms.

Surviving him are his daughter, Misty (Barry) Armstrong of Greenfield; siblings, William “Jerry” (Carol) Meredith of Indianapolis, Sandra (Charles) Hudgins of Jamestown, Charlene (Rick) Popp of Fountaintown, and Sheila (Don) Diefenderfer of Morristown; and many nieces and nephews.  Preceding him in death were his parents, William and Geraldine Meredith; and nephew Chad L. Meredith.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at 1:00 P.M. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield with viewing one hour prior to the service.  Pastor Randy Slaven will be officiating.  Burial will be at Hanover Cemetery in Morristown.
