GREENFIELD – Mary Frances “Fran” (Brown) Emge, age 67, died April 1, 2009 at her residence.  Born on September 29, 1941 in Patoka, Indiana, she was the daughter of Harold and Beulah (Satterfield) Brown.  She graduated from Fort Branch High School in 1959.

 

Mrs. Emge was married to Bobby L. Emge for 49 years.  She was a homemaker, enjoyed working puzzles and was a loving grandmother. 

 

Surviving her are her husband of Greenfield; her mother Beulah of Princeton; her sons, Brett (Kaylena) Emge of Greenfield and Rodney Emge of Greenfield; her daughters, Annette (Patrick O’Neill) Emge of Greenfield and Cynthia (David) (Emge) Connelly of Greenfield; brothers, Bill “Butch” Brown of Princeton, IN, Dennis Brown of Princeton, IN, and James Brown of Evansville, IN; sisters, Esther Livermore of Princeton, IN and Wilma Young of Oakland City, IN; sister in law, Kennelee Brown of Princeton; thirteen grandchildren, Kerri, Kristy, Derek, Heather, Nick, Cierra, Kory, Ashley, Jimmie, Brandon, Mikayla, Kegan, and Alexis; and one great-granddaughter, Kaleigh.    Preceding her in death were her father, Harold Brown, her brother, Donald Brown, and sister in law, Debbie Brown.

 

Visitation will be Friday, April 3, 2009 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.  Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 10:00am at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.  Burial will be at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
