INDIANAPOLIS – Henry D. “Denny” McGill, age 55, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Born on July 4, 1953 in LaFollette, Tennessee, he was the son of J. D. and R. Joy (Foust) McGill. Denny married Phyllis J. (Edington) McGill on April 28, 2000 in Clay County, Tennessee.
He had been a control man for Rolls Royce in Indianapolis since 1995 and had worked for Typo Service Printing in Indianapolis, as well. Denny was a member of Faith Trinity Pentecostal Church in Shelbyville. He had served in the U.S. Army.
Surviving him are his father, J.D. McGill of Brown County, Indiana; wife, Phyllis McGill of Indianapolis; sons, Dennis, Jimmy, and Roland; daughter, Julia; stepdaughters, Angela and Tammy; brother, Dave McGill of New Palestine; sister, Joyce Jenkins of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews; and 12 grandchildren. His mother preceded him in death.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 27, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Faith Trinity Pentecostal Church, 505 W. Pennsylvania Avenue, Shelbyville. Funeral services will be on Thursday, May 28, at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Pastor Perry Fouts will officiate. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.

Dear Phyllis I was informed about the loss of your husband from Betty from work ---- Please thank her for leaving a message on my phone machine. I am so sorry to hear that Denny pasted. My deepest thoughts are with you and your loved ones. I never met Denny however I know that the Love you have for one another and your strong Faith will carry You thru this time in your life.
