Our Great Aunt Dot
by: myknjo, 04/11/09
It certainly has been a long time since I saw Aunt Dot, but as soon as I got the news of her passing, the memories of her came rushing back. One of my fondest memories of her visits was the "quarter" she gave us after a hug. A sign of her warm and giving ways. On behalf of all Karen Jones' children, and Karen herself, I say "we will miss you Aunt Dot." Our thoughts are with the immediate family. Take care all.

I LOVE YOU GRANDMA DOT!
by: desthay, 04/09/09
Grandma Dot - I will always have such great memories of you from my early childhood. I used to love to come visit with my family. You were so funny and so much fun! Thanks so much for touching my life. I only regret that we live so far away from each other. Louisiana is along way aways. It brings me comfort to know that you will now be in heaven with my momma. I am sure she was at the gates waiting for your arrival. Now she finally has someone to talk to! I can just imagine it now. I regret that I will not be able to take the trip to say my final goodbyes. I know you understand and that you have always loved me as I have you. I will forever keep you in my heart. Until we meet again.
Love forever and ever,

Our beautiful Aunt Dot
by: smaupin, 04/14/09
It was such a shock to hear of Aunt Dot's passing. I guess I thought she would be here forever.
Aunt Dot was such a beautiful lady. I always adored her style, always perfect and pretty. She was full of humor, I don't think I EVER saw a bad side---she probably didn't have one---just a happy and fun lady.
I have to say, as we all have talked, the first memory we all come up with is the "quater" I think she must have saved them just for her trips to visit us. There were so many of us, she must have been rich...
Aunt Dot was my connection to my Grandma Lodena and they were both such wonderful women. I miss Grandma more than anything in this world and now I will miss them both, so much. I know they are together now with their mother and Daddy, Uncle Elmer, Johnnie, Darlene and Aunt Jennie, laughing and having a good time.
We all love you and miss you Aunt Dot...
Love and prayers to ALL the family and friends,
