To Uncle Phil, my cousins and their families

by: Heavenstarshine, 04/06/08

I just want you to know how very sad we all are . I was so very sorry I could not be there to pay my respects to such a wonderful Aunt.  Char was always so sweet to us kids , when I think of her what I remember most... was her wonderful laugh and smile.  Her kindness and love, the wonderful treats she would make in her kitchen.  Even though I couldn't be there for the funeral, I gave Oma a  flowering bush to plant in her memory. It has red flowers and is suppose to attract butterflies. We will put it next to Mom's tree in the backyard.  Even though they are away from us for now ... they are close to us in spirit ...watching over us.   I want you to know that even though we are far apart. You are my family and I am praying for all of you. For you to be comforted. I love you all!

Your neice and cousin,

My heart is broken for you all......I know we are no longer in touch but, please except my sincere sympathy for the loss of your wonderful mother. She was always so sweet, kind and loving to me. She always welcomed me into her home with open arms...and I will never forget that. I spent my first Christmas with you and your family and I will never forget that as well. Again, I am heart sick and so sad for your loss. I pray that God be with you and your family.

I was so shocked when I got the word about Charlene.  I was looking so forward to seeing you both at the reunion.

I'm glad I have all of the good memories of our school days, singing together, getting snowed in for days, etc.  Also I enjoyed our visit so much that we had a couple years ago.

I will not be able to come up for the funeral, but my thoughts and prayers will be with you during this time.

Love to you all,
