NEW PALESTINE – Brian D. Bales, age 36, of New Palestine, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Born on December 4, 1972 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Harold and Coleen (Carnes) Bales. He graduated from New Palestine High School in 1992.
Brian was a press operator at the Daily Reporter in Greenfield. He attended New Palestine Christian Church. An avid fisherman, Brian also loved playing golf and softball.
Surviving him are his parents, Harold and Coleen Bales of New Palestine; and his grandmother, Doxie Carnes of Kentucky.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 20, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 21, at 2:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery in New Palestine.
