FOUNTAINTOWN – Brian A. Hurd, age 41, died Tuesday, May 12.  Born on June 8, 1967 in Greenfield, he was the son of John W. and Lois C.  (Staley) Hurd.  He graduated from Wayne County High School in 1986. Brian married Kristina (Coomer) Hurd on September 23, 1995 in New Palestine. 

He co-owned Autumn Oaks Complete Tree Service in Fountaintown since January of 1990.  Mr. Hurd was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the great outdoors. 

Surviving him are his wife, Kristina, of Fountaintown, IN; mother, Lois, of Monticello, KY; children, Hannah Belle Hurd, age 10, Vickie Marie Hurd, age 8, and Cameron Scott Hurd, age 4, all of Fountaintown; brother, John D. Hurd, of Monticello, KY; half-brother, Sam Hurd, of China; half-sister, Jeanie Berry, of Indianapolis; in laws, William L. and Jean (Boley) Coomer, of Leavenworth; nieces and nephews, Jade, Chelsey, and Cody Hurd, Billy and Amanda Coomer, and Kyle Campbell.  Preceding him in death was his father.

Visitation will be Friday, May 15, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.   Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 16 at 11 a.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Burial will be at Old Chapel Cemetery in Perry County, IN.

Please know that you & the children are in our prayers. We love you all. Tiny was more then a friend he was family. I thank him for all the great memories he left us. I wish I had the answers that you are looking for, look to God and he will help & guide you. Please remember that we are always here for you & the children. I know you will keep his memory alive. To the family of Brian (Bubba) I'm so sorry for your loss. Brian was a very sweet man I know that he was so proud of his children he was happy to be a father. I met Brian many years ago he became a friend of the family, I havent seen him in close to a year but when I did he always talked about his kids and how well they were all doing. Brian will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.
