Brandon Couch

by: nkarau, 04/11/08

I am deeply sorry to hear of the passing of Brandon.  He was so involved in life and community and right on the threshhold of life's experiences with a fiance who loved him too.

I have so often thought of my son & daughter (Barbara Grider) and grandchildren (Chris Grider & Melissa at NPHS) and how their passing at such a tender age would leave such a hollow feeling in life.

We can be consoled and reassured that he is now in the loving care of our Savior, Jesus & his Father in Heaven along with the Holy Spirit.

Dear Dean, Peggy, Sabrina, and Jessica,

It is hard to put in words the feelings that I want to share with your family.  Brandon was a one of a  kind young man.  I have been thinking about your family during this hard time.  I cannot imagine how difficult this week has been for you.  I adored Brandon.  He was such a hard working, gentle guy who always made one feel special.  I know like you know he is with the Lord and is rejoicing with Him.
Brandon definately touched more lives than most.  I will miss him and I will continue to pray for your family during this time.

Love you all,

Thinking of you

by: sjacobs, 04/10/08

Dean, Peggy, Jessica and Sabrina,

I wanted you to know that I am thinking of you in this challenging time. I have no idea of the suffering you are experiencing. However, I want you to know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

There are so many things I cannot understand about life on earth. Brandon’s passing is one of those mysteries. I do have some comfort knowing that when my days on this earth are done, I will hopefully be able to have those mysteries solved and explained.

I know all of you realize what a great role model Brandon was for our youth. All of you did a great job of raising a man. I am confident that in his passing others will be able to reflect on the positive impression he made in this world while he was here. It was a pleasure to watch him live a sermon as opposed to listening to one.

Please let me know if there is anything that I can do for you or your family.

One in a million

I first met Brandon when working with him at the Homework Hotline. I got to know him really well as an extremely kind-hearted person. You could always see his kindness in everyone he talked to, from tutors to other callers. In the time I got to know him, I enjoyed talking to him whenever I passed him in the hall or saw him in the mail room. He was there for everybody and would always put everyone before himself. I am glad to have known Brandon in the short time he had. I'm truly going to miss him, and my thoughts and condolences go out to Mandy, and both families. Kyle Kamischke
