GREENFIELD – Alice L. (Harold) Copeland, age 81, died Thursday, May 7, 2009 at her residence.  Born on October 25, 1927 in Fairland, she was the daughter of Cecil and Geneva (Peak) Harold.  She graduated from Franklin High School in 1945 and attended one year of college. Alice married E. Eugene Copeland in 1945. 

Mrs. Copeland was a housewife and a member of Trinity Park United Methodist Church. 

Surviving her is her son, Alan E. (Karen) Copeland of Greenfield; daughter, Conni L. Martin of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Cliff, Dalanea, Kelly; four great-grandchildren, Madalyn, William, Lily, Benjamin; and two step-grandchildren, Mia and Molly.  Preceding her in death were her parents and husband.

Memorial services will be on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Park United Methodist Church.  Reverend Mike Manning will be officiating.
