WILKINSON – Kenneth P. McConahay, age 41, of Wilkinson, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2008 in Indianapolis.  Born on June 12, 1967 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Charles and C. Patrice (Toney) McConahay.  He attended Howe High School in Indianapolis.  Kenney was a tile setter for Beddel Plumbing in Greenfield and was formerly a tile setter for Tremain Tile.  He also worked for the City of Greenfield as an animal control officer and for the Street Department.  He was a basketball coach at Eastern Hancock Elementary Youth League and volunteered at Edelweiss Equine-Assisted Therapy in Greenfield.

Survivors include his fiancé, Michelle M. White of Wilkinson; father, Charles McConahay of Indianapolis; son, Dillon McConahay of Charlottesville; stepchildren, Jake Hahn of Greenfield, Brandon, Logan, and Caden Francis, all of Wilkinson; a baby on the way, due in March 2009; brother, Timothy (Belinda) McConahay of Fishers; sisters, Kathleen (Rick) Reneau of Indianapolis, Susan McConahay of Kennard, and Ann (Allan) Figy of Greenwood; and many nieces and nephews.  His mother preceded him in death.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 6, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.  Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 7, at 2:00 p.m. at the mortuary.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his family in care of Erlewein Mortuary, 1484 W. US 40, Greenfield, IN 46140.
