Zionsville – Dorothy E. (Creek) Kocher, age 89, died Friday, March 5, 2010 at Indiana University Hospital – Simon Cancer Center.  Born on March 18, 1920, she was the daughter of William and Bertha (Richardson) Creek.   She graduated from high school in Hartford City, Indiana.  Dorothy married Paul A. Kocher in 1943.  Mrs. Kocher retired as a supervisor from the Fort Benjamin Harrison Finance Center and was a member of Cumberland United Methodist Church.  Surviving her are her son, Jerry Kocher of Indianapolis; daughter-in-law, Gisela Kocher of Rancho Cordova, CA; grandchildren, Jason Kocher and Mark Kocher of Indianapolis, Sue (Leo Levac) Kocher, Jeffery (Michelle) Kocher and Claudia (Tim) Kocher-Hughes all of Sacramento, CA; and many nieces and nephews.  Preceding her in death were her parents, William and Bertha (Richardson) Creek; husband, Paul A. Kocher; step-son, Pail A. Kocher; and one brother and five sisters.  Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary, Greenfield, Indiana.  Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with calling one hour prior to service.   Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery in Anderson.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96^th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46278.  Friends may send online condolences at www.erleweinmortuary.com or email sympathy@erleweinmortuary.com.
