GREENFIELD– Addie “Kay” Butler, age 70, died January 30, 2008 at Hearth at Prestwick in Avon.  Born on August 3, 1937 in Dunreith, Indiana, she was the daughter of Ike and Mildred (Sorrell) Smith.  Mrs. Butler married Leon Butler on June 8, 1955 and worked as a homemaker for many years.  She was also a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Greenfield.  Surviving her are her son, Michael (Amy) Butler of Danville; daughter, Joyce Ann (Peter) Bendslev, of Houston, TX; brother, Freddie Smith of New Castle; sisters, Connie Jean Faucett of Morland and Sharon Boyd of New Castle; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Preceding her in death were her husband, Leon Butler; parents, Ike and Mildred Sorrell; and brother, Donnie Smith.  Visitation will be Sunday, February 3, 2008 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.  Funeral services will be Monday, February 4, 2008 at the mortuary at 1:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association at 61 Broadway, 6^th Floor, New York, NY, 10006.  Friends may sign the on-line guestbook at www.erleweinmortuary.com or email condolences to sympathy@erleweinmortuary.com.
