GREENFIELD, INDIANA -- Linda L. (Hanna) Engel, age 61, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 in Greenfield, Indiana.  Born May 30, 1947 in Broken Bow, Nebraska, she was the daughter of Walter Everett Hanna and Frances Emily Hanna-Jenkins.  She graduated from Anselmo-Merna High School in Merna, Nebraska in 1965.  She was employed by the Custer County Chief where she met Ronald A. Engel and married on August 16, 1971.  She was employed for 23 years as a bookkeeper for Standard Change-Makers, Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Survivors include her husband, Ron Engel of Greenfield, Indiana; son, Conrad D. Engel of Millard, Nebraska; daughter, Andrea S. Johnson of Cumberland, Indiana; brother, Clifford Hanna of Milburn, Nebraska; sisters, Kathy Greibel of Lincoln, Nebraska and Janice Beran of Sargent, Nebraska; and grandchildren, Dana and Paul Johnson.  Her parents preceded her in death.  She was a loving mother devoted to her grandchildren, her family, friends and coworkers.  A private burial will be held in Broken Bow, Nebraska.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.  Sentiments can be sent to 950 N 150 W, Greenfield, IN 46140.  Friends may sign the on-line guestbook at www.erleweinmortuary.com or e-mail condolences to sympathy@erleweinmortuary.com.
