NEW PALESTINE – Amy Lynn Green, age 18, of New Palestine, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2008.  Born on March 24, 1990 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Scott Green and Lori (Tharp) Phillips.  Amy was a senior at New Palestine High School in New Palestine, where she was a former cheerleader and gymnast. 

Survivors include her parents, Scott Green of New Palestine, and Lori and Jamey Phillips of Carmel; brother, Justin Phillips of Carmel; grandparents, Patricia and Jon Rosner of New Palestine, Linda Tharp of Rosedale, Indiana, and John and Sylvia Green of Waveland, Indiana; great-grandparents, Fay Barnheart of Rosedale, Indiana; and many other extended family and friends.  Preceding her in death were her great-grandmother, Lillian Weisheit, and grandfather, Charles Tharp. 

A memorial service will be on Monday, May 26, at 11:00 a.m. at Cross of Grace Lutheran Church in New Palestine.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service.  Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital.  Friends may sign the on-line guestbook at www.erleweinmortuary.com or email condolences to sympathy@erleweinmortuary.com.
