GREENFIELD – Virgil “Jeremiah” Hoover, age 54, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at his home in Greenfield.  Born on October 27, 1953 in Greenfield, he was the son of Virgil I. and Hildreth L. (Oney) Hoover.  He graduated from Greenfield Central High School in 1972 and worked as night manager at Marsh Supermarkets for 10 years.  He married Joy A. (Penn) Hoover on April 10, 1990 in Tennessee.  Virgil loved music and was involved in different bands including his most recent band, “Spokane.”  Surviving him are his wife, Joy Hoover of Greenfield; children,  Arica J. (Matthew) Coleman of Carthage and Brandon T. ( Morgan ) Hoover of Indianapolis ; step-son, Aaron S. Fultz of Kentucky; and one step-grandson, Timothy Fultz of Kentucky.  Preceding him in death were his parents.  Visitation will be Monday, March 24, 2008 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.  Celebration of  Life  Services will be on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary.  Brother Lance Stevens will be officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hancock County Hospice, 801 N.
