Greenfield – Rex P. Hendrickson, age 67, died Friday, June 12, 2009 at Hancock Regional Hospital.  Born on September 17, 1941 in Indianapolis, IN, he was the son of Roscoe Elton and Minnie Pearl (Brickens) Hendrickson.  Rex married Linda K. (Geiss) Hendrickson on October 26, 1963 in Indianapolis. 

He worked for Navistar for over 25 years before retiring in 2001.  Mr. Hendrickson liked to fish, loved his children and grandchildren.  Rex was very mechanically inclined. He could fix anything. 

Surviving him are his wife, Linda, of Morristown; children, Julie (Scott) Whitehouse of Greenfield, Matt (Brandey) Hendrickson of Indianapolis; brother, William (Sandy) Hendrickson of Greenwood; brother-in-law, Ben Dooley of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Logan, Jarret, and Noah Whitehouse and Sydney Hendrickson.  Preceding him in death were his parents and sister, Anne Dooley. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 16, 2009 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.  Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.
