GREENFIELD– Larry McKee, age 51, died Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at  IU Hospital in Indianapolis.  Born on December 22, 1956 in Lincoln County, Kentucky, he/ was the son of William and Jewell (Holton) McKee.  Mr. McKee was self employed as a construction worker and was a member of the Town and Country Christian Church in Shelbyville.  He was also former President of the Eagles Lodge #4004 in Greenfield, loved fishing, and was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts.  Surviving him are his fiancé, Terri L. Buckler of Greenfield; mother, Jewell K. McKee of McKinney, KY; step-children, Tina Lester of Indianapolis, Austin Bainter of New Castle, and Jesse Bainter of Greenfield; siblings, David (Ann) Wilcher of Shirley, Frances Adams of KY, Nancy Roberts of KY, John (Renee) McKee of Greenfield, Cathy (Danny) Caudill of KY, and Dolly (Butch) Hayes of KY; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Preceding him in death was his father, William Henry McKee.  Visitation will be Friday, October 10, 2008 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.  Burial will take place at New Salem Cemetery in New Salem, Kentucky.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Mr. McKee to help defray funeral expenses, c/o Erlewein Mortuary, 1484 W.
