GREENFIELD – Joanne Reasner Strubbe, age 79, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2008 at her home in Greenfield.  Born on December 10, 1928 in Greenfield, she was the daughter of Harry Edward, Sr. and Crystal Opal (Ware) Reasner. She married George Robert Strubbe on January 26, 1947.  She graduated from Greenfield High School in 1946 and received an Associates Degree in Registered Nursing from Indiana University School of Nursing in Indianapolis in 1971.  Mrs. Strubbe worked as a nurse for Hancock Memorial Hospital in the recovery room for 20 years and had also worked as a nurse at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.  Surviving are her husband, George R. Strubbe; daughters, Connie McIntosh, Jan Strubbe, and Ronda  Siefke; son, Steve Strubbe; brother, Harry E. Reasner, Jr.; grandchildren, Stephanie Woodard, Chris McIntosh, Kaitlin Siefke, Alex Siefke, Cameron Siefke, Sam Strubbe, and Spencer Strubbe; and several nieces and nephews.  Preceding her in death was her brother, Richard M. Reasner.  Visitation will be on Sunday, February 10, from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.  Funeral services will be on Monday, February 11, at 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
