SHELBYVILLE– J. Patrick Smith, age 62, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Major Hospital in Shelbyville.  Born on March 11, 1946, he was the son of Daniel and C. Kathryn (Stevens) Smith. Surviving him are his brother, Mike (Carolyn) Smith of Greenfield; and many other family members.  Preceding him in death were his parents.  Private family services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2008, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.  Burial will follow at Presbyterian Cemetery in Ellettsville at approximately 12:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Smith to Morristown Christian Church, 209 S.
