Born in Marion County, Jim is the son of Albert and Nondas Wilson. Jim graduated from Morristown High School, then married his high school sweetheart, Virginia "Ginny", on January 23, 1945. They have three children - the late Judith (Judi) Erlewein, Donald A. Wilson, and Gregory D. Wilson- along with five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Jim and Ginny reside in Morristown, where he owned the Marathon Service Station. He is a member of the Morristown United Methodist Church, is a Past Master of the Masonic Lodge, and served as President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Lions Club. Past times of Jim’s include computers and aviation.
