Judi, Bruce's late wife, was born at Major Hospital in Shelbyville, Indiana to James and Virginia Wilson. She graduated from Morristown High School and received a Nursing Certificate from Methodist Hospital. Judi later received her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of Indianapolis. She married Bruce in 1968 and had two children, Dane and Tisha. Judi was employed as an R.N. in the Morristown and Greenfield areas, including as School Nurse for Shelby Eastern School District and as Director of Nursing for Regency Place Nursing Home for many years. At the time of her death, she was a member and trustee of the Fountaintown United Methodist Church and state and local nursing associations. Before her tragic death in 1996, Judi enjoyed shopping, reading, crafting, writing poetry, and spending time with her family.
