Both of our facilities offer large, open Great Rooms and hospitality lounges with updated furnishings for the comfort of your family and guests, along with plenty of well-lit, off-street parking. Easy access from US 40, I-70, and State Road 9 make us easy to find for out-of-town visitors.

Our Fortville mortuary was built in 1925 by the Ayres family.  It was originally the Ayres' family's weekend and summer home; however, in 1931, George McCarty, the local undertaker, purchased the home and it became McCarty Funeral Home.  The Erlewein family purchased the mortuary in 2003.

Our Greenfield mortuary was built in 1996 by the Erlewein family.  In 2005, additional great rooms, hospitality lounges, and restrooms, as well as a childrens' room, Lending Library, and family arrangement rooms were added.
